Our commitments
Our passion and ambition have always been to make Domaine du Belvédère a place of love and well-being.
Everyone comes here to share delicious moments of love and joy.
This is our job, our commitment, what guides us every day to make this place a magical place.
But we could not imagine this incredible place
without thinking about our environmental and social responsibility in every decision.
We are extremely fortunate to be in a preserved place, where wild flora and fauna flourish in harmony.
To limit our impact, we have implemented different practices:
The Garden of the Senses
Water and resources
1- Water : Elimination of plastic bottles for reusable glass bottles, microfiltered water on site (sparkling & still) with unlimited free access, installation of shower heads saving up to 65% water, reprocessing of gray water to fill toilet flushes at Orée du Bois...
2- Reduction of packaging by choosing bulk for fruits & vegetables and breakfast products.
3- Waste management through selective sorting carried out by our team, with the possibility of doing so by customers.
4- Commitment to the Slow Food movement: Consumption of as many local and organic products as possible for the restaurant and breakfast, favoring small producers.
5- Setting up a compost for food and garden waste for our restaurant and breakfast.

Energies
6- Energy : Use of low-energy light bulbs, production of domestic hot water using solar energy, installation of photovoltaic panels to produce 30% of our needs (end of 2024)...
7- Charging for electric cars : free access to Tesla & Edf terminals.
8- Use of golf carts and electric vehicles on the estate.
The equipment
Respect for nature
9- Fauna and flora : Provision of regularly stocked birdhouses and feeders, planting of flowers and trees for pollinating insects.
Member of the LPO association for the protection of birds.
Hunting is banned on our entire estate.
10- Vegetarian and vegan food always available at the restaurant & at breakfast.
11- 100% eco-labeled cleaning products .
12- The bathroom products are certified organic, to take care of your skin but also the planet. They are in refillable bottles to limit plastic as much as possible. We recently opted for soap graters to replace hand washing gels in the common areas!

CSR commitments
13- CSR* commitment on the social and societal part:
We open our positions and positions to everyone without distinction of race, religion, orientation as well as to people with disabilities.
We regularly integrate people without training and are involved in apprenticeship, work-study and internship contracts.
We ensure equal treatment for equivalent positions between men and women.
More than 70% of our management is female.
We make sure to prioritize permanent contracts (80% of our contracts).
We help a large part of our teams with accommodation (5 quality accommodations dedicated to our teams and allowing up to 10 people to be housed).
We have eliminated split shifts and only offer continuous shifts, ensuring that our schedules are adapted to personal situations as much as possible.
